The highly competent staff at Eastern Iowa Dermatology PLC will ensure that your visit to our office is comfortable and effective. The administrative team is happy to answer any questions about scheduling an appointment, insurance claims, and finance policies.
We do our best to minimize the waiting time. We provide many services; therefore, circumstances may lengthen the time allocated for a procedure. Emergency cases may also arise and cause further delays. We appreciate your patience.
If you have questions about your account, treatment fees, or insurance plans, be sure to speak with one of our billing specialists.
Our staff is happy to submit insurance claims for your medical care as long as the proper insurance information is provided to us during your first visit. You are responsible for any amount not paid by your insurance. This amount is due and payable at the time of each service or treatment.
We accept cash, credit card, and personal check payments. If you do not have insurance, payment is due in full at the time of service. If possible, we’ll work with you to establish a payment schedule that fits your need.
We make every effort to provide you with the most convenient financial options. Present your insurance ID card for your primary and secondary insurance at every visit. Restrictions are imposed for timely submissions of your claims. If we receive a denial from the insurance company because of inadequate or incorrect information you’ve provided, you’ll be responsible for the billed amount immediately.
We accept most of the insurance policies existing today like Blue Cross Blue Shield, Aetna, Assurant Health, United Health Care, Medicare, and others.
A 25% down payment is due for all noncovered
services at the time of your visit. If your insurance company does pay a portion of the service, the down payment will be applied toward future services at our office. There will be a $25.00 charge for returned checks due to insufficient funds.
